Rob Austin Racing are to enter Formula 1 in 2010 as the team sign a deal to look after a 1978 Surtees TS20 Formula 1 car.

In its hey day the car was driven by Vittorio Brambilla aka "the Monza Gorilla" who's claim to fame was that the only F1 race he won he proceeded to crash as he went over the finish line. In 2010 the car will be piloted by hired gun Rob Austin who shares a similar claim to fame as Vittorio after getting his victory doughnuts wrong after a Formula 3 victory and beaching his car in the gravel. The car will also be fully supported by Rob Austin Racing and their experianced team of engineers.
