About the Team

Rob Austin Racing was founded by experienced racing driver Rob Austin in 2005. Although Rob during his 15 years as a Racing Driver has also been a Tea boy, apprentice machinist and fabricator, Formula Ford mechanic, Formula Ford Engineer, Formula 3 Engineer, Development test driver, hired driver and been involved in the Sintura project which involved designing, building and running a GT1 racing car from scratch.

This level of experience as a driver is something Rob gives directly to his drivers to help them progress but from a career which includes so many different areas of the sport and a life so focused on motorsport Rob has the experience and knowledge to progress his team to a standard that is second to none and this is why people join Rob Austin Racing and succeed!
