"When I started this team I had an image in my head of how I wanted it to operate. I wanted to create a team with a clean sharp image and colour scheme with logical and relatively simple systems in place so everyone within it knows their job so every task is completed properly. But I also wanted a true team spirit, I only want to employ people who live to go racing and all share that as a common bond. At this level of motorsport where a drivers main reason for going racing is to have fun it is important to me that there is a lively and fun atmosphere surrounding the team. So far I have achieved 100% of my goals, our reputation in the paddock is a good one, any driver that has come to us is still with us and Rob Austin Racing is something I am extremely proud of.
